Fontmama is home to a curated collection of free fonts from around the web. This site is for designers, illustrators, students, digital creators, business owners — anyone excited to discover and use fonts.

While there are hundreds of thousands of fantastic fonts out there for purchase, most of us have a limited budget and limited time to make our typographic selections.

My goal with Fontmama is to showcase high quality, open source and free fonts to help make typographic exploration and design more accessible for everyone. And plus, there are just some straight up amazing, open source fonts out there that I want to showcase and celebrate.

Fontmama is not an exhaustive database, but an ongoing, personal curatorial project. I will only be sharing typefaces here that I have personally tested and think are worth your while.

My hope is that Fontmama inspires, excites, and most of all, empowers you to have fun with type.

The Creator

Fontmama is created and managed by me, Do-Hee Kim, a designer based in San Francisco. I am a co-founder and partner at Shoppe Theory, a kick-ass design studio.
